This physical pictogram, resulting in a beautiful interpretation of the polar bear was awarded with a gold medal only two years after it was designed at the Deutsche Handwerksmesse in Munich. It is the design itself that gives this figurine its character It appears perfectly formed and lifelike. With its soft, playful outline, this polar bear is such a pleasure to look at and makes a beautiful addition to the home. The abstract beauty of this figure comes in both white beech and beeswax oiled oak, both FSC®-certified. Arne Tjomsland got the inspiration for this piece by reading Polar literature and from the time he spent at the Zoological Museum in Oslo as a child.
