The Eikund Jaer Bar Stool, designed by Sigurd Resell in 1959, is a genuine mid-century Scandinavian design that is only now being brought into serial production for the first time. With its distinctive three-legged construction and honest, understated character, the Jaer has a strong presence while maintaining a remarkably light and refined visual expression.

Resell graduated from the National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in 1947 and designed the Jaer while working at the pioneering Norwegian interior design firm Rastad & Relling Tegnekontor in Oslo. The stool reflects the firm's commitment to functional, carefully considered furniture with a strong connection to craftsmanship.

Constructed primarily from solid wood, the Jaer is distinguished by elegant brass ferrules at the base of each leg, providing a subtle contrast to the natural warmth of the wood while protecting the feet. Its three-legged structure gives the stool a distinctive silhouette and reinforces its sense of simplicity and balance.
