Description
These 100% Genuine Sheepskin hides originate in New Zealand, where the sheep are raised in open fields which allow for grazing while they develop thick and soft insulating merino wool. The final product is our traditional sheepskin throw rug which offers decorative versatility while adding a natural softness to any space.
Sheepskin Rugs can be placed on the floor beside your bed, in front of the fire, or used as a throw on sofas, chairs, and other furniture.
Our shearling pelts are some of the largest and softest available in Canada with dense wool fibres and durable suede backing. These pure lambskins are essentially a 'pelt' or 'hide', and the term shearling is used to describe that the wool has never been separated from the suede leather backing.
General Care: Regular brushing will maintain the soft, fluffy appearance of the sheepskin. Avoid direct sunlight and high heat sources, such as blow dryers and radiators. Sheepskin rugs are machine washable and dry cleanable, although spot cleaning is recommended.
